Front side windows must let in at least 25% of light, measured with the film and glass together, and reflect no more than 25%, under Texas Transportation Code §547.613. Windshield tint is limited to the area above the AS-1 line or the top five inches. Rear side and back windows can be darker as long as the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides. Most vehicles are ready in about 2 hours from drop-off to pickup. Larger vehicles or full-vehicle packages can take a little longer, and we’ll give you a time estimate when you drop off.
Keep your windows up for at least 24 hours after installation so the film can fully bond to the glass. Rolling them down too soon can make the film peel or lift at the edges. Small water bubbles or a slight haze during the first few days are normal while the film cures, and they clear up on their own.

No. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, annual safety inspections ended on January 1, 2025, for most non-commercial vehicles, so tint is no longer checked at a state inspection. Texas tint limits under Transportation Code §547.613 still apply, and police can still stop and cite you for illegal tint. Commercial vehicles still need inspections.
Yes. If a medical condition requires darker tint than the Texas legal limit, bring a signed statement from your physician or optometrist to your appointment. We’ll keep a copy on file and install the right shade. Texas law (Transportation Code §547.613) requires you to keep that statement in your vehicle.
